Get started as an 8x8 XF Workspace user

8x8 XF Workspace empowers users to handle customer interactions in a simple and accessible way through 8x8 Work for Desktop, 8x8 Work for Web, or 8x8 Work for Mobile.

To enjoy the full functionality of 8x8 XF Workspace you need to:

The 8x8 Work app username and password required to log in to your 8x8 XF Workspace account are enables through the welcome email each user will receive when the user accounts are created by the admin. See About login and password for details on how to log in to the 8x8 Work.

Features

Using 8x8 XF Workspace, you can:

  • Process both queued inbound and outbound callbacks offered to the customer
  • Enable/disable assigned call queues
  • Take advantage of the capabilities in 8x8 Work for Desktop, Web or Mobile, such as SMS, Team Messaging, Meetings, and Fax
  • Use Frontdesk which allows better call management; Act as a receptionist directing calls to the right destination
  • Track the status of 8x8 XF Workspace user and queues

Log in 8x8 Work for Desktop

You can easily log in to 8x8 Work for Desktop using your 8x8 credentials.

Your credentials and accompanying details are sent to you via email. In the email, check whether you should use an 8x8-assigned username and password, or your existing company credentials (also called Single Sign-On).

After installing and opening the app, you are brought to the main login page.

To log in:

  1. From the main login page, enter your username and password.

  2. If you would like the app to remember your login credentials and authenticate you automatically, select the Remember Me check box.

  3. Click Login to launch the app.

Log in 8x8 Work for Web

8x8 Work for Web is the browser version of 8x8 Work for Desktop, with a shared look and feel that provides a consistent 8x8 Work experience between mobile, desktop, and web. If you are already familiar with the desktop app, your experience in the web app is virtually seamless.

To log in:

  1. Go to https://work.8x8.com/ in your browser.
  2. From the login page that opens, enter your username and password.
  3. If you would like the app to remember your login credentials and authenticate you automatically, select the Remember Me check box.
  4. Click Login to launch the app.

You can log out, reset your password, or recover your username as you would in 8x8 Work for Desktop.
