Set up Phone for Calls in 8x8 Contact Center for ServiceNow

You can set up either a softphone or a desk phone from your agent profile in the 8x8 Contact Center integration app to receive calls.

To set up your phone for integration calls:

  1. From the Menu drop-down, select Profile. The My Profile page displays.
  2. In the Personal settings section, enter either a phone number or SIP Phone URI.
  3. Click Make Verification Call to verify the phone number. You receive an incoming phone call notification.
  4. Make sure the phone number is in the right format (e.g., 1-408-555-0111) and click Save.
