Log in
You must log in to Salesforce application first; select a desired mode to work in (Classic, Console, or Lightning). You can then log in to 8x8 Contact Center for Salesforce using Individual System Sign-On or Single Sign-On.
Log in to Salesforce
You can choose to work in one of the following modes in Salesforce: Classic, Console, and Lightning.

- Log in to Salesforce in Classic mode.
- Click Allow to accept the app permissions at the prompt.
- If your administrator has set up integration with 8x8 Contact Center, the 8x8 Contact Center app launches automatically in a separate browser window.
Make sure your not blocking the browser pop-ups. You have the On Break status upon logging in. You are not offered any interactions while in the On Break status. For details on agent status, see the Agent Quick Start Guide. - Change your status to Available or Working Offline.
You are now ready to process your customer interactions using 8x8 Contact Center.

- Log in to Salesforce in Salesforce Service Console mode.
- Click Allow to accept the app permissions at the prompt.
- In the footer, click the Phone link to launch the app.
Note: The app is a pop-up window embedded in your Salesforce login window. You can minimize the app by clicking the minimize button.
You have the On Break status upon logging in. You are not offered any interactions while in the On Break status.
For details on agent status, see the Agent Quick Start Guide. - Change your status to Available or Working Offline.
You are now ready to process your customer interactions using 8x8 Contact Center.

- Log in to Salesforce in Lightning mode.
- Click Allow to accept the app permissions at the prompt.
Clickif you wish to open the app in a separate window.
- Click 8x8vcc at the bottom left corner of the page to launch the 8x8 Contact Center.

Log in to 8x8 Contact Center
After you log in to Salesforce, Follow the instructions below to log in to the 8x8 Contact Center app:

- Log in to your Salesforce account.
- 8x8 Contact Center for Salesforce automatically launches in a separate window. Make sure your browser is not blocking pop-ups.
- At the prompt, enter your user ID and password to log in to the 8x8 Contact Center application. Consult your supervisor for credentials. For details on agent status and an overview of (Undefined variable: 8x8VariablesSet.AgtConsole ), refer to the Agent Quick Start Guide.
Note: Multiple invalid login attempts may lock you out. You are now logged in to the app. The app launches and places you on Break status.
- The app launches placing you on Break status. Change your status to Available or Work Offline.
You can launch Salesforce in Classic, Console, and Lightning modes.

- Log in to your Salesforce account.
- Click to open the 8x8 Contact Center app.
- Click Login if you have the Single Sign-On (SSO) integration set up for your account.
