Set up your meetings

You can configure all your meetings in one place in the Meetings settings:

  • Personal meeting space: Take advantage of a personal meeting space unique to you, which you can add to any scheduled event in the calendar you work with. In addition, you can configure your meeting settings to use randomized meeting space names for added security!
  • 8x8 Meet and calendar integration: Integrate 8x8 Meet with one of the following calendars to take advantage of the convenience of your usual calendar app and the power of 8x8 Meet! Simply schedule in your calendar, and with one click or tap from your app, add a meeting to your scheduled event.

    • Via our downloadable meeting plug-ins, combine the convenience of scheduling from start to finish in Google Calendar and Office 365 with the capabilities of 8x8 Meet.
  • Calendar for meetings - View all your calendars synchronized with your Google account here.
  • Salesforce integration - You can add your meeting resources to Salesforce. Enable the Show the integration to summary page option to view it.
  • Scheduling meetings - Your personal meeting space is assigned as a permanent virtual room. You can choose to schedule your meetings in this space or use a different room for each scheduled meeting.
  • Personal meeting space - Customize your meeting space by changing its name and adding a participant passcode, if applicable..
  • Moderator settings for your personal meeting space -Take advantage of advanced meeting features and settings; control your audio quality, manage which presenter is most visible to participants, and more!
  • Enable the display of the meeting minified view - Enable a meeting minified view for when the window is not in focus.
  • Giphy integration - Show the Giphy feature in the meeting reactions menu, allowing participants to use it.
  • Prompt users to start recording upon joining the meeting.
