Set up SMS channels
As an administrator, you can enable communication via SMS channels for agents using the 8x8 Contact Center integration for Microsoft Dynamics. The 8x8 Contact Center SMS service is currently supported in 30 countries. To learn more, see the list of supported countries.
To enable support for SMS, you must perform the following steps in 8x8 Configuration Manager:
- Configure SMS channels.
- Add an SMS script.
- Assign the SMS script to the SMS channel.
- Add users to the queue.
