Allow Access to Switchboard Pro
Depending on your subscription and license type, you may see Switchboard Pro capability. The Switchboard Pro application is an optional receptionist console software application for 8x8 8x8 Work that increases the efficiency of your organization with better phone call management. Switchboard Pro is flexible and easy to use. With a few clicks, a receptionist can manage multiple calls, voicemails, and chat sessions, search the contact directory, place calls on hold, park calls, and transfer calls to the desired destination. To give Switchboard Pro access to a user:
- In 8x8 Admin Console, go to Home > Users.
- While creating or editing the user, scroll down to see Switchboard Pro.
- Enable Allow this user to access Switchboard Pro application. It allows access to the 8x8 Work receptionist and operator console application for live call handling and phone call management.
