Support for Softphone
8x8 now supports Bria softphone for global reach.
To enter the softphone SIP URI, log in to 8x8 Configuration Manager, navigate to Agents > Phone, and enter a softphone SIP URI for the agent's workplace. Softphone SIP URI contains [UserID@Domain] such as [email protected].
Agents can also configure their own profile by entering a softphone SIP URI as their workplace SIP URI.
