Set up Single Sign-On: 8x8 integration for Microsoft Dynamics
The 8x8 integration with Microsoft Dynamics now supports SAML Single Sign-On (SSO).
To set up SSO login for your 8x8 integration with Microsoft Dynamics, you must:

- Log in to your Microsoft Azure account.
- From the home page, select Azure Active Directory.
- From the navigation menu, select Enterprise applications.
- Select New application > Create your own application.
- In the side panel that displays, add a name for your application.
- Select the radio button for ‘Integrate any other application you don't find in the gallery (Non-gallery)’.
- Click Create.
The app overview page displays. - From the Assign users and groups card, click Assign users and groups > Add user/group, add the relevant users/groups, then click Select > Assign.
- From the navigation menu, select Overview.
- From the Set up single sign on card, click Get started.
- Select SAML as your single sign-on method.
- From the Basic SAML Configuration section, click Edit.
- Under Identified (Entity ID), click Add identifier, and type a unique value for the app.
- Under Reply URL (Assertion Consumer Service URL), click Add reply URL, and type the URL where the app expects to receive the authentication token.
- Click Save from the top of the panel.
- Click x to close the panel.
- From the Attributes & Claims section, click Edit.
- From the page that opens, keep the Unique User Identifier (Name ID), and remove additional claims by selecting Context menu
> Delete > OK.
- Return to the configuration page by selecting SAML-based Sign-on from the breadcrumbs.
- From the SAML Certificates section, navigate to Certificate (Base 64) and click Download. You will need it for the configuration in 8x8 Admin Console.
- From the Set up <app name> section, copy the URL for Azure AD Identifier.
Note: Save the URL in a notepad—you will need it for the configuration in 8x8 Admin Console.
- From the navigation menu, select Properties.
- Navigate to User access URL and copy the URL.
Note: Save the URL in a notepad—you will need it for the configuration in 8x8 Admin Console.
Note: Use a unique and relevant app name.

After configuring SSO login in Microsoft Azure, you must configure SSO login for Microsoft Dynamics integration in 8x8 Admin Console.
To configure SSO login in 8x8 Admin Console:
- Log in to your 8x8 admin account at https://sso.8x8.com/v2/login.
- In the Home page, select Identity and Security.
- Go to Single Sign-On Integration (SSO) and turn on the toggle.
- Select Microsoft Azure AD as your identity provider. The Microsoft Azure AD SAML settings display.
- Add the URL you previously saved for the Azure AD Identifier to the Sign-in page URL field.
- Add the URL you previously saved for the User access URL to the IDP Issuer URL/URN field.
- Attach the previously downloaded Certificate (Base 64) file to the Certificate in use field.
- Click Save.
- Go to Home > Users, and click Edit
for the user you wish to enable SSO login.
- Go to Single Sign-On (SSO) and add your MS account login username.
- Click Save.
