Handle calls in Virtual Office for G Suite

When you receive an incoming call, contacts associated with the phone number are searched and presented. If you have a contact record with that phone number, the search lists the contact information. The result indicates if the call is associated with a Google contact, an 8x8 contact, or a Salesforce contact.

If you have multiple contacts with the same phone number, the search yields multiple results.

You can select the appropriate contact to include in the call log by going to VO > Info while in the call.

Upon selecting a matching result from the list, the call log is automatically associated with the selected contact. If you do not select one, the call log shows only the phone number.

From the call log, you can also dial the number or view the search results again by hovering over the entry.
