Handle calls in 8x8 Work for G Suite
When you receive an incoming call, contacts associated with the phone number are searched and presented. If you have a contact record with that phone number, the search lists the contact information. The result indicates if the call is associated with a Google contact, an 8x8 contact, or a Salesforce contact.
If you have multiple contacts with the same phone number, the search yields multiple results.![]()
You can select the appropriate contact to include in the call log by going to VO > Info while in the call.
Upon selecting a matching result from the list, the call log is automatically associated with the selected contact. If you do not select one, the call log shows only the phone number.![]()
From the call log, you can also dial the number or view the search results again by hovering over the entry.![]()
