Manage Messages

From the SMS and IM screen, you can access and manage your personal message history.

To access the message history of your Virtual Office extension:

You can search for an SMS or IM by contact name, number, or message content. You can also open a recent message via notification.

1. Tap to open the main menu.
2. From the main menu, select SMS and IM.
   OR
   From the navigation menu, tap .
   The SMS and IM page opens, listing the name and presence of contacts you have previously sent or received messages from.
3. Search the contact name, number, or message content, or scroll through the list.
   • If you search by message content, the relevant content is highlighted.
     
4. Tap the desired message to view the transcript.

To delete a message on your Virtual Office extension:

If your phone system administrator has enabled it, you can delete messages from your personal history. This does not affect the message history of other users.

1. Tap to open the main menu.
2. From the main menu, select SMS and IM.
   OR
   From the navigation menu, tap .
   The SMS and IM page opens, listing the name and presence of contacts you have previously sent or received messages from.
3. Tap Edit, and tap next to conversations to be deleted.
   OR
   Swipe left on the SMS or IM to be deleted.
4. Tap Delete.
   
5. At the prompt, confirm the deletion.
