Set New Forwarding Rules
Apart from setting default rules for call forwarding, the L'application de bureau Virtual Office allows you to specify custom rules to block or forward calls from certain numbers.
How do I set a rule to filter on a recurring schedule?
- Click the Date and Time tab.
- Select Recurring schedule.
- Select the days of the week for the schedule.
By default, 8 AM to 5 PM is selected for Monday through Friday.
- Enter your start and end date and time.
- Click Ok.
- Click Save.
How do I set a rule to forward calls to multiple numbers?
- Click the Forward to tab.
- Select Forward Calls to.
- Enter phone number.
- Click Add.
- Enter how long your phone must ring before moving on to the next phone number.
- Enter next number.
- Choose to forward calls to these numbers simultaneously or sequentially.
- If you select sequential forwarding, you can prioritize your list by entering numbers in the Order column.
- Click Ok.
- Click Save.
How do I set a rule to enable call screening?
- On the description panel, check the Enable Call Screening check box.
This allows you to ask callers to announce their names before the call is put through, giving you the option to answer or not.
- Click Ok.
- Click Save.
