8x8 integration with Microsoft Outlook requires you to log in via the L'application de bureau Virtual Office. User authentication is handled via the L'application de bureau Virtual Office, which is compatible with SAML and Google Single Sign-On.
To access 8x8 integration with Outlook, you must be logged in to the L'application de bureau Virtual Office. If you are not logged in, or do not have it installed, you receive a warning prompting you to log in to or install the L'application de bureau Virtual Office.

1. Open Microsoft Outlook.
2. In the Home ribbon, click Schedule Meeting.
   
3. A new window opens up.
   Select the email address to send from. Enter the participants, meeting name, location, and meeting times.
   
   If desired, click Meeting Settings to further customize your meeting and view the dial-in numbers available.
   
   
4. When you are finished, click Save.
5. Click Send.
6. Your meeting is now listed in My Meetings, under the 8x8 menu in the Mail > Home and Calendar > Home.
   
7. You can choose to see a reminder before the meeting begins.
   Reminder times can be configured under File > Options > Calendar > Calendar options.
   

1. Open Microsoft Outlook.
2. In the footer, click Calendar.
   
3. In the calendar view, double-click the meeting you want to edit.
   The email window to edit your meeting pops up.
   
4. After making your edits, click Send Update in the email window.
   Participants are notified of changes made to the meeting.

You can access a Conférence Virtual Office either through an email invitation, or through My Meetings.

To join via email invitation:

1. Open the email invitation in your inbox.
2. The invitation contains the URL and dial-in phone numbers that have been assigned to the meeting, and the option to join from an in-room video conferencing system.
   
3. When the meeting time begins, either click the link or dial into the meeting.

To join via My Meetings:

1. Open Microsoft Outlook.
2. Click My Meetings under the 8x8 menu in the Mail > Home and Calendar > Home.
3. In the list that pops up, click the meeting you want to join.
   
4. Accept the confirmation prompt to join the meeting.

To join via in-room conferencing system:

Les appelants d'un système en salle peuvent rejoindre une Conférence Virtual Office en composant simplement l'URI SIP communiqué dans l'e-mail d'invitation à la conférence. Pour plus d'informations sur l'utilisation de vos systèmes de conférence en salle, reportez-vous aux instructions du fabricant.

Remarque : les appelants d'un système de conférence en salle ne peuvent pas voir ni partager le contenu affiché à l'écran.

Problème connu : si vous rejoignez la conférence via un système en salle avant que la vidéo ne démarre pendant la conférence, vous ne pourrez pas rejoindre la vidéoconférence. Pour rejoindre la vidéoconférence, vous devez rejoindre la conférence après qu'un autre participant à la conférence a démarré la vidéo.

1. Open Microsoft Outlook.
2. In the footer, click Calendar.
   
3. In the calendar view, right-click the desired meeting, and select Cancel Meeting from the drop-down.
   
4. Click Send Cancellation in the email window that pops up.
   Participants are notified of the cancellation.
   

1. Open Microsoft Outlook.
2. The 8x8 plug-in shows in the Outlook Home tab.
3. Click the 8x8 plug-in drop-down menu and select Send Feedback.
   
   The 8x8 Virtual Office Meeting feedback window pops up.
4. In the feedback window:
   1. Under Description, enter your feedback.
   2. In the Feedback Type drop-down menu, select from:
      • General Feedback
      • Application Issue
      • Virtual Meeting Issue
   3. If you are currently in a Conférence Virtual Office or are giving feedback on a recent Conférence Virtual Office, enter the Meeting ID in the Meeting id (optional) text box.
5. When you are finished, click Send feedback. A debug log is sent to 8x8 along with your feedback.
