Create Personal Contacts

Your Virtual Office extension inherits contacts from your 8x8 phone systems. For centralized access of all your contacts, you can add personal contacts.

To create a personal contact:

  1. In the Contacts tab, click to open the drop-down menu.
  2. Select Create Contact.
  3. In the New Contact window that pops up, enter the relevant contact details:
    NameThe contact's first and last name
    Job TitleThe contact's job title
    CompanyThe name of the contact's company
    Phone NumbersThe contact's work phone(s)
    Email AddressesThe contact's email address(es)
    AddressesThe contact's postal address(es)
  4. Based on the grouping tags available, you can add further information, such as the contact's department or location.
  5. Click Save.
    The new contact is saved as a personal contact.

    Note: You can add a company contact to your personal contacts for further editing.
