In this release, we introduce the following features and enhancements:
Call log Improvements
Customized subject lines: The subject of call log previously contained date stamp, call duration etc. It is now changed and relates to the Salesforce object it is associated with. For example, Call with Fred; Call regarding case 1001. This default subject line does not show up in the call log screen to encourage the user to add an appropriate subject line. It is auto saved if the user left the subject line blank.
Best Practice: Keep the subject line concise.
Subject line - Ability to auto complete based on your previous entries.
Improved Processing of Tasks: Previously the call log created a new completed task after every call. Now calling from an open activity closes that task and writes the call log to that task.
Follow-up: Previously, creating a follow-up task after ending a call allowed us to specify priority, status, and a deadline for that task. Now, the Add Follow-up button allows you to provide subject for the follow up task. Example: Call the customer back.

Settings for End Users: End users in Salesforce can now define settings that control the following:
Search for matching records by object type: When a call comes in, the app searches for matching records in the following Salesforce objects.
End users can select one or more objects to search from. For details, check out End User Settings.
Improvements in Call Log: We have introduced improvements in the call log that enhance user’s productivity.

Control over whether a pop happens in a new window or in a new tab has been added to the user configuration. The user can determine whether a screen pop will open in a new tab or a new window.
