Set up Click-to-Dial
With click-to-dial, you can conveniently click a phone number from a contact record and initiate an outbound call.
To set up click-to-dial:
- Go to Home > Set Preferences.
- Open the Telephony sub-tab.
- Open the Telephony option drop-down menu, and select CTI.
- Under CTI URL, enter
https://voapi.8x8.com/pcinsweb/launcher/netsuite/click2Dial.html?phone={phone}
, and save. - To make a call, open a contact record, and click the desired phone number in the record.
Note: You must be logged in to a Virtual Office client to complete the call.
- Your Virtual Office app phone rings first. Answer the call to dial out to the destination.
