Handle Calls with Skype for Business

Once you install the plug-in for Skype for Business, you are ready to use the Virtual Office desktop app to call your contacts in Skype for Business. In combination with Skype for Business, you can use the full version of the Virtual Office desktop app to use a broader range of features. You can place calls from your Skype for Business contact list, chat windows, or dial pad, and manage the call via Virtual Office.

Important: In order for integration with Microsoft to function, ensure that you are using a version that is compatible with your current version of the Virtual Office desktop app:
-For version 6 of the Virtual Office desktop app, download the respective plug-ins for meetings with Outlook, for calling with Outlook, and for calling with Skype for Business.
-For version 5 of the Virtual Office desktop app, download version 5.0.10 of the Microsoft Integration plug-in, which includes meetings and calling with Outlook, and calling with Skype for Business.

Important: At this time, only organizations that are new Skype for Business customers are upgraded to version 6 of the Virtual Office desktop app, and must install the Skype for Business Virtual Office plug-in. If your organization is an existing Skype for Business customer, you continue to use version 5 of the Virtual Office desktop app, and version 5.0.10 of the Microsoft Integration plug-in.
