Determine Settings to Open a Contact Record

The 8x8 integration to NetSuite will take the inbound phone number from the calling party and compare it to Contacts within the NetSuite instance. When a match is found the contact will be popped providing the employee with information about who is calling and interaction history with that contact.

Note: the 8x8 integration supports phone numbers stored in Main Phone, Office Phone, and Mobile Phone only.

Note: Currently, the integration does NOT pop entities within NetSuite such as Leads, Accounts, Suppliers, etc. Although if a contact is associated with an entity it will be visible to and employee within the contact record.
