To configure your Bria softphone:
To set up a new SIP account in Bria:
Note: Your User Name combined with the Domain Name creates a unique SIP Phone URI. This unique URI is used to register your Bria with Virtual Contact Center. For example, if your User Name is <jdoe>, and your Domain is <acme.com>, your SIP Phone URI in the agent profile should be <[email protected]>. Please note that the value is case-sensitive.
Note: Please do not add or remove any information in the Password, Authorization name, and Dial plan fields.
Note: The new account is now chosen as the default account for your Bria.
To select audio codecs for your Bria:
Note: 8x8 recommends using only G711 aLaw and G711 uLaw for better voice quality. G729 is a compressed audio codec, which is not recommended for contact centers.
